How we look after your information. Plain English, no small print.

The short version

  • We only ask for your email, so we can send you your cards.
  • We never sell or share your details for marketing.
  • Your progress and timers stay on your phone.
  • No cookies, and no tracking ads.
  • You can unsubscribe or ask us to delete everything, any time.

Who we are

Choreo is run by a small dedicated team in the UK. We decide how your information is used, so we're responsible for looking after it. To get in touch, use our contact form.

What we collect

  • Your email address, when you sign up for the free cards.
  • Your feedback, if you fill in our feedback form or rate a card. A card rating includes the card name and how long the job took.
  • Your message, plus your name and email, if you use the contact form.
  • Basic technical details, like your IP address and browser, which our website host logs to keep the site running and secure.
  • Visit stats, like which page you came from. These are anonymous and don't use cookies.

What stays on your phone

Your ticked steps, timers and progress are saved in your own browser, not sent to us. Clear your browser data and they're gone.

Why we use it

  • To send your cards: you asked us to (your consent).
  • To make the cards better: using your feedback and ratings is in our legitimate interest, and we keep it to what's useful.
  • To reply to you: when you contact us.
  • To keep the site safe: stopping spam and misuse.

Who helps us

We use a few trusted services to run Choreo. They only use your information to do this job for us.

  • Netlify: hosts the website and stores form answers.
  • Resend: sends our emails.
  • Cloudflare: counts visits anonymously.

Some of these companies are based in the US. When information leaves the UK, it's protected by the safeguards UK law requires.

How long we keep it

  • Your email: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
  • Feedback, ratings and messages: up to 12 months, then we delete them.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • See the information we hold about you.
  • Correct it.
  • Delete it.
  • Stop using it, or stop emailing you.

Just use the contact form, or unsubscribe here. We'll reply within a month. If you're not happy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

We don't use cookies. Our visit stats are cookie-free, so there's no cookie banner to click through.

Children

Choreo is for adults. Under-13s shouldn't sign up. Older kids are very welcome to follow the cards with a grown-up.

Changes

If we change this page, we'll update the date at the top. If it's a big change, we'll email you first.
